App Permissions
SkillQuest requests only the Shopify API permissions necessary to operate the Service:
- write_discounts / read_discounts — Create and manage discount codes generated by the widget
- read_orders — Track revenue attribution for issued discount codes
- read_inventory — Check product variant availability for discount targeting
- read_locales — Detect store locale for widget localization
The widget is delivered as a Shopify App Block, which does not require theme access scopes. Customer targeting uses data provided by the Shopify Liquid template context, not the Customer API.
